Cash Release Calculator
Which debt goes first?

Type in your debts. In two minutes you'll see which debt frees the most cash every month, when you could be debt-free, and how the three methods compare.

Cash Release Method: Debt ÷ Payment = Months. We target the debt that will release the most cash every month.

Your debts

Step Zero: find the money leaking out of your account (optional)

Open your last bank statement. Not your memory, the statement. Take 20 minutes and go line by line. Most people never read it, and that's exactly where the money leaks.

For every charge that comes back every month, ask one question: Do you still use this? A gym you don't go to. Streaming nobody watches. An app, a box, a membership. And every small charge you don't recognize: find out what it is.

Type in only what you found on your statement and decided to stop:

The move: bills on a card with room (optional)

Bills you pay every month anyway (phone, internet, electric, insurance) go on one card with room. The cash they leave in checking goes to your first target.

This is not free. The card charges interest the whole time. One rule never breaks: the card never goes over its limit. The calculator stops the move by itself before that happens. At 90% of the limit, it warns you: that is the signal to move the next bill to a card with more room (the free Cash Release spreadsheet and app turn the card red at 90% too). In our real cases, the bills stayed on the card about 5 or 6 months, until the short plans were paid off. Your card's minimum payment can go up as its balance grows. Check your statement every month.

What's left after your bills and minimum payments. Leave it empty if nothing is left.

A simplified estimate. Interest is figured as balance × APR ÷ 12, every month. Debts with no APR count as 0%. Every freed payment goes to the next debt. It does not move bills to cards, track card limits, or plan month by month. Your statements are always right.

I am the founder and creator of the Cash Release Method. Yes, I'm an accountant, but not a CPA, and a financial coach, but not a financial advisor. I create the map and lay the numbers out in front of your eyes, but the decision is always yours, whether or not you take the steps on the map.
