Privacy Policy

I hate spam as much as you do. My dignity is not for sale, and neither is your email. I will never sell, rent, or share your data with anyone, now or ever. Period.
Who this is
This website is run by Mirjana Filipovic, creator of the Cash Release Method™, based in Washington State, USA. There is no company and no team. It is one person, and I handle everything myself.
What I collect
Three things, and only if you choose to give them:
- Your email address, if you join the waiting list for the free app.
- Your name, email address and message, if you write to me through the contact form.
- Your name, email address and a password, if you create an account in the free apps (Cash Release App or Homeconomy).
That is the whole list. You can download the free spreadsheet without giving me anything at all — no email, no sign-up, no account.
What I do not collect
- No tracking of individual people. I use Plausible, a privacy-first analytics tool, to count how many visits each page gets and roughly where people found me. It sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and cannot follow you around the web or tell one visitor from another.
- No advertising pixels. No Google Analytics, no Facebook, no Google Ads, nothing of the kind. -->
- No financial information. I never ask for account numbers, card numbers, balances, or your Social Security number — and please never send them to me.
Why I collect it
Your email on the waiting list is used for one purpose: to tell you when the free app is ready, and occasionally to share something useful about the method. Nothing else.
A message sent through the contact form is used to answer you.
The free apps: your numbers stay with you
To use the Cash Release App or Homeconomy, you create an account with your name, email address and a password. The sign-in is handled by Google Firebase. I never see your password.
Everything you type into the apps — income, bills, debts, cards, goals — stays on your own phone or computer, locked (encrypted). It is never sent to me or to anyone else, and I cannot see it.
The key that unlocks your numbers is kept with Firebase, under your account, so you can always get back in — even if you forget your PIN. The key on its own shows nothing: your numbers are not there, they are on your device.
Step Zero: when you add a picture of your statement, it is read right there on your device. The picture is never uploaded and never saved. The reading tool itself is downloaded from a public library, once; your picture does not go with it.
Your backup file is yours. It is locked too, and opens only after you sign in with your account.
Removing your data: “Remove me from this device” in the app menu deletes your numbers from that device. To close your account completely, write to me and I will delete it.
Where it is kept
Waiting list emails are stored with Kit (kit.com), the email service I use. Visit counts are stored with Plausible, which keeps no personal data at all. Contact form messages are delivered through Netlify, which hosts this website, and arrive in my email inbox. Both are established providers with their own privacy terms.
App accounts (name, email and the locked key) are kept with Google Firebase.
Who I share it with
Nobody. Your email is never sold, rented, traded, or handed to anyone else. The only exception is if a law required it, and that has never happened.
How long I keep it
Your email on the waiting list stays until you unsubscribe. There is no time limit on that, because you asked to hear from me. The day you unsubscribe, it goes.
Messages sent through the contact form are a different thing. You wrote to ask something, not to join anything. I keep those for up to twelve months, in case you come back to the same question, and then I delete them — from my inbox and from Netlify.
Getting out
Every email I send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are off the list, and I will not email you again. You can also write to me and I will remove you myself.
If you want to know what I hold about you, or want it deleted, just ask. I will do it and I will not make it difficult.
Cookies
I do not set tracking cookies. Plausible, the tool I use to count visits, works without cookies entirely. The waiting list form is provided by Kit and may set a cookie so it can remember that you already signed up. That is the only one on this site.
Children
This site is meant for adults dealing with their own debt. It is not directed at children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
If this ever changes
If I change anything here, the date at the top changes with it. If it is a change that matters, I will say so in an email rather than quietly editing the page.
